Little One

Well I'm back from surgery and things went really well. I'm doing good, just a little sore and a little tired.

I colored the giraffe image from Hot Off the Press' Mini Giraffe set with my copics. Then I pop-dotted the image onto a few layers of oval shapes and stamped the sentiment. Added all of that to a piece of scrap pattern paper, added some bling, and it was finished.

It's a Boy

So I should be on my way home today, and I'm totally excited for that. Here is another schedule

I am totally thrilled with how this card came together. At first I didn't have the elephant image and it looked blah and needed something. So I colored this sweet little image and added it. Totally made the card, in my opinion.

Ruffles again

In case you didn't already notice this posts have been done ahead of time, as I am still in the hospital recovering from surgery. I didn't want to disappoint my readers and not have a, although I'm sure you would all understand. Gotta love the magic of being able to schedule a post!!! lol

Here is another card with Ruffles the Puppy from Stampavie...isn't he cute???

In my mission to stamp at least one card from each stamp set, I've also decided to use only scraps (my supply never seems to dwindle only grow). The pattern paper is scraps from Bo Bunny's Alissa collection. I added some bling, ribbon and a flower.

Well I go for surgery this morning, but I've got a card to share with you. I do like to scrapbook but right now I'm all out of pictures( I know I must be the only person in the world who is completely caught So for now it's cards....

This adorable image is from Imaginisce and I didn't know what sentiment to use.....until I remembered I had won a doggy words set from Camp Croppin' last year. The sentiment is from Cornish Heritage Farms and was perfect. The kraft paper is a line from Jillibean Soup. I really like this sentiment because it has been a reminder for me lately.
Just remember that in the word impossible is 'possible'!

Happy Day

Well it's the day before my surgery :s and I'm getting nervous. I have already done posts for the next few days and they will automatically happen each day.

I'm really impressed with how well this card came together. Several different stamps were used- the butterfly from Stampendous, the leafy branch from SU!, and the sentiment from Michael's.

Ruffles Birthday

So today is Family Day here in Alberta, so that means a holiday for us! I love a good holiday!!...hehe. Not doing too much either, hanging out with hubby watching some movies and stamping.

I used Ruffles Puppy from Stampavie for the image and then colored with my copics. The patterned paper is from October Afternoon's Cherry Hill collection and the sentiment is from Close to My Heart.

Miracle from Heaven

I bought this paper to make some pages of our nephew when he was born, and can't for the life of me figure out what company it is. Pretty sure I bought it at Michaels, and I searched the internet for the name, but alas I came up short.

The colors really look good together, so I chose a dark brown to mat it in, as well as the saying. The saying is from the My Sentiments Exactly (MSE) set Sweet Thing.

Have a great Family Day Long Weekend!

Thinking of Hoo

I know, I know I haven't blogged anything for a really long time, but I've been busy crafting lately. When I go for my surgery, I'm not sure just how much crafting I'm gonna feel like doing, therefore I've made quite of few things to be able to post daily.

I bought this MFT stamp at Scrapbooker's Paradise and have been wanting to use it, but not sure for what. Looking through my scraps, I founds some leftover Sam papers by Dream Street Papers. On one side of these papers was some owls, so I know that the owl stamp would match good.

Using Spellbinders Nestabilities, I cut out a circle and then sponged Momento ink around the edge and inside. I colored the owl image with my copic markers, cut it out and glued it to the circle.  I stamped the sentiment, and added some jute ribbon.

I have also made a mission for myself, to make at least one card with every stamp/stamp set I own. Should be fun!!!

Camp Croppin

It's coming!!! April 15-16 is Camp Croppin' 2011!! I am super duper excited. Last year was my first year attending this crop and what a blast it was. I had so much fun that I've been not so patiently waiting for any information about the 2011 Camp Croppin'. Well the date's been set, and now I patiently await registration in one week. I am looking forward to being able to crop with a good friend, maybe taking some classes, doing make and takes, shopping, and winning prizes. Last year the had a big palette at the front of the room and I noticed their was a ton of scrapbooking stuff in it. Well I found out that all of the items had been placed in there by fellow scrapbookers and was being donated to a Therapeutic Scrapbook Program at one of the local hospitals in Calgary. All year I have been saving things to put in this bin, as it goes to a great cause!

If you are interested in going (you absolutely must go!) go the Scrapbooker's Paradise Blog to check out more information on Camp Croppin' 2011. Hopefully I see some of you there!
