Pretty Pink

It seems that as of late my newest favorite color has been pink. Last week I posted a pink cupcake card I had made after reading the book 'Pinkalicious'. Well I finally got my pictures from that day developed and just needed to make a Pinkalicious layout. I couldn't resist the temptation to use pink either...lol. I really had fun creating this layout.

I cut out the title using Quickutz's Sugar Sweet font and the princess using my Cricut and the Once Upon a Princess cartridge. I like how she turned out and kind of resembles the little girl from the book cover. All around the outside of the pink scalloped cardstock, I placed pink glam rocks from Imaginisce. I had small scrap of pink patterned paper from the Snow Much Fun line from 3 Bugs in a Rug, which I added to add some visual texture.

Off to my space to work on my next creation!

Glitz Sketch

Hope everyone had a great weekend. I know I sure did!!

Glitz Design put some sketches on their blog and I was totally drawn to one of them. I turned the sketch sideways to use my horizontal pictures.

I used the Cosmo Cricket Mitten Weather collection and a vanilla-ish grosgrain.

My Mom

Okay so it has been a few days since I posted something, but it's been busy around my house with dayhome kids, doctors appointments and some serious crafting.

Recently my mom, once again helped me out in a jam. I am always grateful to her and wanted to let her know just how much I appreciate everything she does for me. At a crop a couple of months ago, I was given a free clear album in the shape of a flower. I thought it was really pretty, but didn't know what to do with it. When mom, once again helped me out, I knew exactly what to do with the flower album.

It's the first time I have altered a shaped album and I quite enjoyed it. I think it turned out okay with the minimal matching supplies that I had.

I hope that my mom likes it!!

Pinkalicious Day!!

Today one of my dayhome kids brought a book called 'Pinkalicious' and some pink cupcakes to share. Pinkalicious is a book about a little girl who eats too many pink cupcakes and turns pink herself, a very good children's book. The cupcakes were delicious too!

After our little 'Pinkalicious' party we went downstairs to craft, as this had inspired me. I had the perfect cupcake stamp and knew exactly what I wanted to make.

Supplies used: Bo Bunny double dot paper, Bazzill cardstock, My Favorite Things stamp set, Momento Ink Angel Pink, miscellaneous ribbon

Blizzardy Day

Yesterday and today have seen Mother Nature unleashing her nasty side. It has been snowing and blowing here so much that we have snow drifts that are waist high!! Took DH quite a while to shovel us out this morning for our trek into town. Roxy, however was enjoying the massive piles of snow, cause she kept jumping into them face first!! LOL I took this afternoon/evening to stamp, color and create. Here is one of the cards I came up with.

The picture is not the greatest as I am still experimenting with finding the right light, spot etc. This cupid bear stamp is from Whipper Snapper Designs and is way too cute. I couldn't resist the urge to color him with my Copic markers.

Have a good night, stay warm!

Supplies used: Whipper Snapper Designs Cupid Bear, Copic Markers, Cuttlebug Dot embossing folder, Momento Ink - Angel Pink

Snowman Scene

For Christmas with my side of the family we always make a homemade gift and do a fun gift exchange. DH knew that this year he wanted to etch some glass. We got the piece of glass cut, then I set to work using my Cricut and cut some vinyl to create this winter scene. Once I had cut and placed all of the vinyl DH bead-blasted the glass to get the frosted look.

DH took this picture and it's not the best quality but at least he took a picture!!! lol

Supplies used: Winter Frolic and Doodlecharms Cricut cartridges, Provo Craft vinyl

New Blog Design

Okay so I stumbled across this website, Leelou Blogs, that has free blog designs and layouts. I'm not a blog designer by any means so I hit the jackpot!!! I know that Valentine's Day is still over a month away but this layout was to0 cute to resist.

Holiday Magic

Okay so I must say that Bo Bunny has to be one of my favorite lines. I immediately fell in love with the Winter Joy collection because of the colors they put together.

Roxy was the subject once again for this photo. I had started to pull out the decorations to decorate the tree and the house and found this 'Santa's Helper' hat. She sits very well and let me put the hat on her. However the hat was a little big an every time I tried to take the picture the hat was falling off. I finally captured the picture, but Roxy looks less than impressed...lol

Supplies used: Harmonie cardstock, Bo Bunny Winter Joy Collection

With Gratitude

This card was inspired by a store bought card a friend had received. I took the branch stamp,  stamped it over and over again in different colors and then added a simple sentiment in the corner.

Supplies used: Close to my Heart cardstock, Stampìn' Up stamp and miscellaneous sentiment stamp.

All Kinds of Thanks

Another Whipper Snapper Designs stamp, can you tell yet I love them??

Supplies used: Bo Bunny Double Dot paper, Whipper Snapper Designs bear stamp, Bazzill cardstock, miscellaneous ribbon and sentiment stamp.

Picture Perfect

My subjects for this layout are two of my dayhome kids and such cuties. I have had this paper for ever, almost hoarding it because it is so cute, but it worked perfectly for this layout.

Supplies used: Dream Street Sam collection, Close to my Heart fibers, American Crafts rub-ons and miscellaneous brads.

Swinging by....

Whipper Snapper Designs makes some of the cutest stamps. One of my favorites is this monkey stamp, how can you not think it's cute...hehehe...I colored the image with my copics, and I am by no means an expert on copic coloring.

Supplies used: Whipper Snapper Designs monkey stamp, Heidi Swapp photo corners, Bazzill cardstock, Copics and a miscellaneous sentiment stamp.

Roxy Girl

Yet another challenge submission for my LSS! Here is my dog Roxy and she makes for such a good scrapbooking subject....lol. This picture was taken about 4 months ago and she lost all that cute puppy fuzz and has a really long thick coat now.

Supplies used: Bazzill cardstock, Bo Bunny Olivia colletion, Quickutz Spicy Chicken die, Kaisercraft gem word, miscellaneous ribbon and pearls.

Friends

I totally am thrilled with how the next page turned out!!! The colors of this collection from Bo Bunny are really great together.

Supplies Used: Bo Bunny Peacock Lane, i-Rock pearl gems and Prima flowers

You Are Special

Okay I finally caved and started a blog! I hope to be consistent and post often.

The  page below was one I created for a challenge at my LSS. When I saw how well this picture I took turned out, I knew exactly what I wanted to do. I have recently fallen into the sewing on pages craze, and I must say that I am totally hooked!
