Another page for my pledge

I can honestly say that I have not been real good with keeping up my blog :( Life just seems to be getting in the way with my creativeness, and it's only gonna get worse. I'll explain more at a later time.

I have been pretty good at sticking with my no buying until I've created 100 pages pledge, although I've only done like 12 pages....lol At this rate it's gonna take me the next 5 years to get 100 done..... :)

Here is another page I did for that pledge....

My Pledge

Today for the first day in almost a week the wind is not blowing super crazy here. I will cross my fingers that it stays that way but won't get my hopes up!!

I finally got around to posting a couple of Camp Croppin' pics on Facebook and thought I would share them here as well. The following two pictures are of Leica Forrest and Matt Lanoy goofing around with someone's camera. Now you must know that this someone had innocently left their camera unattended and these two felt the need to take some pictures *wink*. Here is the result.....:)

Now I have decided to join a group called 'The Scrap More, Shop Less 100 page Pledge'. I have vowed to not buy any more products until I have created at least 100 pages. I know I'm crazy but I have lots of stuff so hopefully I can get rid of it to make room for new goodies, and I'm hoping you all can hold me to that as well! I have created 9 pages so far, and am on a roll but still have a longways to go.

Here is one of my favorite pages featuring my nephew

Thanks for stopping and stay tuned to more of my 100 pages!

Time to bloom

Well I ended up with the flu, and it took me until yesterday to completely shake it. During that time hubby also ended up with it.

Saturday was my birthday and I got to celebrate by going to the greenhouse with my mom and hubby....he's such a trooper! lol My green thumb is itching to get outside and plant my flower garden, but still a little too cold at night for that. Only a couple of weeks and I will be able to start....I think I can wait that long ;)

So in honor of buying flowers and itching to plant them, I created this card:

Fun and Games

Feeling a little under the weather lately, got a cold and feel the flu coming on. My nephew was sick and now both of my in-laws are sick too....fingers crossed I don't get sick.

Here is a card I made quite awhile ago and just got around to posting it.....enjoy

Time flies

I can't believe it has been almost a month to the day since my last post. Time has eluded me for the past couple of weeks and now I'm playing catch up.

Had a great time this past weekend at Camp Croppin'! Took an American Crafts class, and a Bo Bunny class (I will post what I created later). There was make-and-takes, door prizes and tons of fun!!! I won a very nice prize from Bo-Bunny, a red purse created by the Bo-Bunny founder as well as one of each paper from the five new lines!!! I absolutely love Bo Bunny so I was super thrilled with this prize!!!

Here is a card I made awhile back for one of Gina K's StampTV challenge.

The orange looks a little muted in this picture, I need to work on my photography skills!!

Playing in Paradise Challenge #7

This week's Scrapbooker's Paradise Playing in Paradise Challenge was definitely a hard one for me. The challenge was to use navy, green and pink either all together or just one. I choose to use all of the colors together. Here is my card:

Imaginisce Monthly Challenge

I have been partaking in some different layout challenges to spark some creativity and decided to play along with the Imaginisce monthly challenge. This is the sketch we had to play along with.
Here is what I came up with:

I'm very pleased with the end result. Maybe my creativity is slowly coming back....

Playing in Paradise Challenge Six

I've had crafter's block since my surgery and needed something to get my creative juices flowing again, so I decided I wanted to play in Scrapbooker's Paradise 'Playing in Paradise' challenge.

Allison set the challenge, and it could be either a card or a page layout, and since I have no pictures printed, a card it was! As I started this challenge, I was amazed at how fast my long lost creativeness came back! Here is what I came up with.

I used a scrap from Bo-Bunny's Alissa collection. For the darker pink cardstock, I embossed it with my Cuttlebug and then used a border punch for the left side. The image, a Pure Innocence stamp from MFT, was colored with my copics. I also added some diamond stickles to enhance the bubbles. The sentiment came from Inky Antic's Spa Turtle set.

Beary Cute

Things are starting to warm up around here.....I sure hope it's here to stay. Today is day 2 of having kids back after two weeks off from surgery. My sister is has been here to help me, and I really appreciate it. I truly did miss all the kids :)

I whipped up this card really quick.......nothing special.......just 'Beary Cute' ......lol

Quilting on a card....

I saw this tutorial on Splitcoaststampers and had to try it cause it looked like so much fun. Using some scraps I had, I set out to try to quilt.....it was really super easy!!!! The puffer fish stamp from Imaginisce was colored to match the colors of the 'quilt'. The picture makes it look a little off, but it does match quite nicely. I added a little bit of ribbon, and sentiment and it finished the look of nicely.

Scene Cards

We had company this weekend, so didn't get much stamping or crafting done, but I did enjoy having them here. My brother even came for a visit and stay for the weekend.

These two cards I created a while ago and just remembered that I need to share them with you. The first card uses all October Afternoon products, and I sponged the background scene with Momento Ink. I colored all the images with my copics, as well as added some tufts of grass.

The next card is another scene card using stamps from Cat's Pajamas. I colored all the images with copics, and sponged the background with Momento Ink. I also added some shadows with my copics.

Enjoy what's left of the weekend!

Raccoon For You

Well it's a nice day here, and when I say nice I mean not -30....lol

I tried my hand at the faux wood grain look with kraft cardstock, Versamark and a wood grain stamp. Then I colored the raccoon image from Imaginisce with my copic markers and cut the image out. Using my nesties I cut out the scalloped circle, sponged the background on with Momento Ink and pop-dotted the raccoon image over top. I added some doodling on the circle and a sentiment.

I decided today to share another card with you. This image is another one from Stampavie and I think it's too cute. Again I colored with my copic markers. I used pattern paper from Cosmo Cricket's Chemistry line. The sentiment is pop-dotted just over the corner of the image slightly.

Thanks for stopping by!

Welcome....

Snow....more snow.....seriously c'mon Mother Nature....

I haven't done any crafting lately, as I just haven't been feeling up to it. Trying not too move to much, as I don't want to rip open any incisions. I have to say that I have the greatest hubby in the world. He is taking very very good care of me.

The intentions of this card was not to make it monochromatic, but that's how it worked out.  I think it looks so cute! I cut out a circle with my nesties, and then sponged it with Momento Angel Pink ink. The stamps are from Michael's Studio G line and I added some white gingham ribbon and a bow for some texture.
